Secrets of private schools are revealed

 Private schools exist, but who knows something about them? Why are they so expensive? What is taught there? Are there greenhouse conditions? They make majors and glamorous people, don’t they?
No one really knows what's going on there, not everyone can get behind the fence of private schools and it is unclear where we can get information about schools. So, If parents want to give   their   child to learn something in these schools, there are very few opportunities to find the information about.
How they compare?  You cannot travel around all of them and cannot touch!
These niches are not empty. People, who are tired of bad schools and bribes, are looking for something   more thoughtful and valuable for their child. They usually pay attention at private schools.
There are several dozen private schools in Kiev, it turns out. According to some sources there are 36, other sources   count 44, just    not all registered. And in Ukraine there are 250, and people say they are not so bad.
Moreover, half of the schools meet   international standards. In our capital the children of rich foreigners get their education,   and these parents take care of their children the best possible way. Also, in those schools Ukrainian children study as well and they may not be even wealthy.

Who knew about this before? Who knew that these schools have recently got distinguished by the status, quality of teaching, service levels and pricing?
Now everyone will know about it. Now, in the category of luxury cars, spas, and mobile phones we can find the most top schools where the best teachers work, the students have laptops on their desks and the knowledge is given on a high-level.

Feeling that the demand for information is ripe, Bogatomik Institute for Guild Leaders   of Education conducted a study within six months. It has compiled a list of private schools, classified criteria of quality courses and services, surveyed 8000 parents, teachers, headmasters, graduates, educators, employers, and all brought into a Reference Rate for private schools.
Here they were divided in their places on the five-star, four-and three-star, as long practiced in the rankings of universities, hotels, banks, ships, cities, etc.
Five main options:
• Status (International / national / local)
• List and the quality of educational services and technical support
• Steps (elementary, middle, senior)
• Total points
• Tuition
Based on the requirements of international standards to the level of five stars assigned to the International School status, a complete listing of educational and other services (32 criteria), the complete cycle of steps (elementary, middle and senior), for a total score of 200 (of 320) and the price from $ 10 000 per year. The study also examined the parameters of parents’ interests.
Overview.  Background  information. How old the school is, class size, number of students, district and location address.
Material  base.  The level of repair and design, the number of computers in school for one student, safety and security.
Learning process. Learn fundamental knowledge on the state curriculum, additional subjects, the level of use of the Internet and preparation for the National Independent Testing.
Service.  Food,   transportation,  medical care, sports, training, electives, clubs, projects.
Bias. The level of teaching English, computers, business and other preferences.
The attractiveness of  the  school.  Guest  students,  teachers, parents, the quality of school site.
Atmosphere.  Morale, the relationship between students and teachers, the saturation of internal life of the school, the aura: the purity / smells / interior / hallways / dining room / WC.
The results of the school. Percentage of entering college, the percentage of graduates who are satisfied with the job (who already works), and the percentage of satisfied with their life.
Totals, as well as Price / Quality: tuition and the total number of points.
Regardless of which school how to score points, we can fix the market of private schools was formed, and then it will only grow, strengthen and improve.
The most valuable thing in this Rating Guide is the fact that it was first given full descriptions of each school, with their main advantages, location maps from Google and photos. That’s  why, the organizers have done PR in all schools, without exception.

Some schools took the lead on one indicator, the other - on the other. But in general, the first five five-star schools coincide with the ratings of other publications. It's International High School "Grand", International British School, American International School, International School "Pechersk" and the International School "Meridian".
Who knows, perhaps with this extensive study the modernization of our education will begin?
Of course, it is controversial, why start with private schools, why not all schools were included in the ratings?
Perhaps, next time it will be taken into account. The main thing that parents are now armed and very dangerous for directors. After all, they already know what to ask, what to target and what criteria are, in fact, are important to them and their child.
I am glad that this rating is not an official document, and it does not matter, because the numbers and scores do not play a decisive role. For most people, the school may appeal simply because it is close to home, friends are studying there, or there is a teacher- friend.
 In the end, those schools who think that we underestimated them, or who believe they have high quality and no balls. Revaluation surplus recipe is very simple: let the schools try to raise the price to a high level, and look - go to them if a parent-customers in the same capacity. If you go, so, underestimated , in fact. And in all fairness, this school has to earn more. And if not, then have to raise money, and then shift into a higher price category automatically.
For a long time, parents just uttered the magic phrase "price / quality."Finally, everybody saw it.
